Written translations

Translation of texts with various content (technical, economic, legal, medical) and translation of documents (birth certificates, employment records, passports, marriage certificates, education documents, statements/certificates, including medical, sick-leave certificates, etc.), or, when necessary, translation of a single stamp affixed to a document in Latvian in Latvia (for example, the Russian Embassy requires a translation of the stamps affixed to documents with Russian content).
We can deliver the completed translations either on paper or electronically.

Notarisation of document copies

Bring your original document to our office.
We shall copy and duly prepare it, and take care of the notarisation.
The certification of the copy may be provided in Latvia, English, or Russian.

Notarisation of translations

Your document will be translated to the requested target language by a sworn translator and then transferred to a notary who will, in their turn, bind, sign and seal the document together with the translation.

Office certification of translations

We offer certification of the translation of your document, performed by a sworn translator of ours, on behalf of Lingva Tev translation agency (the correctness of the translation is certified by the signature of the director of the agency and the sworn translator).

Typesetting

We shall type your handwritten text on a computer and either deliver the printed document to you personally or send the file to your e-mail address.

Additional services

- If the translated document is to be submitted or produced outside Latvia, it might require an additional certification (Apostille) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia.
We shall obtain it for you either for the translation on the document or the original document itself.
- If you are outside Latvia and require a document from a Latvian public authority, you may order it from us by sending an e-mail inquiry or making a call.
We shall order the required document from the respective public authority, translate it into the requested target language, take care of the notarisation, order the Apostille from the Consular Section of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and deliver the completed document to you by post.
